Calculator inputs

Values you enter into calculator tools are sent to our servers for computation and are not stored or logged after the result is returned.

Generator inputs

Generator tools run locally in your browser. Input values and generated output are not sent to our servers for processing or storage.

Contact form

If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Local storage

Favorites

When you save a tool to your favorites, we store a list of tool identifiers (slugs) in your browser's localStorage under the key thingy_favourites. This data exists only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for thingytools.com.

Tool history

When you use a tool, your most recent inputs and results may be saved locally in your browser's localStorage under the key thingy_history. This allows you to quickly revisit previous results without re-entering values. A maximum of 20 entries per tool are kept. This data exists only on your device, is never transmitted to our servers, and can be cleared at any time from within each tool or by clearing your browser's site data for thingytools.com.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — to power AI-based tools. Inputs are sent to OpenAI's API and subject to their privacy policy.
